Welcome to the North Costa Blanca Padel Club
Club History
The club was formed in 2019 to provide both local and world-wide information about padel to padel players of all abilities from the northern Costa Blanca region.
In June 2020 we acquired the padel courts on Cumbre del Sol, formerly Dylan Mary Tennis and Padel. The padel courts are available to hire and can be booked online: book a court.
In February 2021 we became a federated club with La Federación de Pádel de la Comunitat Valenciana. This means the club can enter teams into official region-wide leagues and play matches against other clubs in the region.
In March 2021 work started on the construction of 3 more padel courts, all of which will be exhibition courts, allowing the elite players to continue play from outside the normal court boundary.
In November 2021, after reviewing a number of suppliers, we signed up with Set Sports and now sell Set Sports padel bats, bags and clothing.
January 2022 saw the first airing of the Channel 4 programme ‘A New Life in the Sun’, Series 7. Filming was conducted during Summer 2021. The programme shows the trials and tribulations whilst installing the 3 new courts and the general development and progression of the club.
Membership
The club is a members-only club with offerings for 3 main categories of member types:
- annual membership,
- quarterly membership, and
- daily membership.
Annual Membership does offer its advantages depending on your frequency of play and what you aim to achieve. We offer 2 annual membership levels; Bronze and Gold.
Quarterly Membership is the same as Bronze membership that has been provided for players that are on vacation in the area and/or can only stay in Spain for 90 days at a time. It operates for three consecutive months from the date of purchase.
Daily membership is for players that use the courts on an ad-hoc basis and will not benefit from annual or quarterly memberships. Daily members pay a higher charge for the court and that extra hire charge is for your membership fee.
Visiting Players in Tournaments
NCBPC organises a number of padel tournaments throughout the year; see the Events page. These tournaments naturally attract players from other clubs in our region. For these players, 5€ of their tournament entry fee pays for their daily membership whilst on site and playing their tournament matches.
Competitive Play
The club runs its own padel ladder/league with annual prizes in the mens, ladies and mixed open classes and holds tournaments once a month, which attracts players from all around the region.
Lessons and Coaching
Coaching is available for all ages and all levels of players, from beginners to elite. The club has qualified coaches who operate at the club on a regular basis.
Facilities
Toilets, changing rooms and showers are on site, as well as a very friendly bar/restaurant, La Vista Cumbre who serve drinks and food to suit all tastes.
Please note: as the facilities are shared between the tennis club and the bar/restaurant, NCBPC management cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your personal belongings left unattended on the premises.

Support from Sponsors
The club is very appreciative of the support we receive from our sponsors. Local companies provide support to the tournaments and we encourage members to support our sponsors in return, thank you. In 2022 our main sponsor was Hill Top Sports Bar and Grill and for 2023 we had two main sponsors; Vulture VPN and Pure Wellness. In 2024 our main club sponsors are Kitchen Fancy and La VIsta Cumbre restaurant.
Management
The club has a committee to direct and administer the club, see below, who maintain the close and friendly atmosphere that players have enjoyed to date and not make the club any more officious that it needs to be.
